Brendan is responsible for delivering messaging and media support on a diverse range of public relations, marketing, and events projects for clients in the public sector market. His responsibilities include multiple levels of content development, from shaping strategic messaging to executing on marketing plans.
In this role, Brendan develops, drafts and places opinion pieces or “op-eds” for ConnellyWorks’ executive clients on topics ranging from Web 2.0 strategy to e-commerce. He also has responsibility for building client presentations for use in public sector marketing efforts, content for internal communications plans, and works with client marketing teams to refine messaging for in-print and on-air advertising campaigns.
Brendan’s event-related responsibilities include managing content development and speaker acquisition for online seminars featuring speakers from federal agencies on topics such as cloud computing, cyber security, and social media strategy in the federal government.
He joined ConnellyWorks with experience on Capitol Hill in political communications and performing arts marketing.

Brendan enjoys the fine arts and the great outdoors. He also loves politics and had the distinction of studying indigenous politics at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
